Color Palette

The Color Palette allows you to easily find and use your corporate colors in your mobile app Project.

How It Works

By default, the color picker for any Project displays a set of standard colors.  You can also enter an RGB number to use that specific color, or click around in the display to find a color you like.

See all the white squares under the "Revert" button?  You can fill those spots with customized colors of your choice!  The first place where you can do this is on the Add New Project From Scratch page.  Scroll down to the section labeled "Color Palette".

If you want to match specific colors, there is an easy way to do so.  Enter your company's website in the "CSS Profiler" box, click "Get Colors", and the MobileSmith platform will find all colors used in that website and display them to you under "Available Colors".  You can hover the mouse over any color to see its RGB#.  For any color you want to use in your app, just drag it to the right under "Application Colors".  You can add up to 30 custom colors this way.

You can also add any color by entering its RGB# in the "New Hex Color" box and clicking "Add Color".  Remember to start with "#"!

Once you have done this, when you are designing your app and you need to choose a color (Text Color, Background Color, etc), any color you dragged over will be available as a button in the color picker.

You can update the Color Palette at any time.  In the left-hand menu, go to Libraries > Color Palette.  Make your changes, then click "Save Color Palette".
